C Family | Family Photographer in Jackson Hole
There is nothing quite like a summer evening at Schwabacher’s Landing, and the C family brought so much joy to the warm, bright landscape. We met in the late afternoon when the sun was still high and glowing, creating the kind of golden light that makes the Tetons feel magical in every direction. This was a small extended family session, relaxed and full of genuine connection, but the star of the entire evening was their sweet baby boy, James.
From the moment we started, James became my little best friend. He had the brightest smile, the kind that spreads to everyone around him, and he lit up each time a different family member held him close. Kids can take a little time to warm up, especially in a new place with a camera pointed their way, but he came ready to charm us all. By the end of the session, he had me completely wrapped around his tiny finger.
We played in the tall grasses, wandered along the water, and soaked up the warmth as the sun slowly dipped toward the Tetons. The bright evening light created a beautiful glow around every laugh, every squeeze, and every moment of connection. Extended family sessions can sometimes feel busy, but this one felt calm and effortless, the kind of gathering where everyone is simply happy to be together.
As the sun set, the landscape softened into rich golden tones and the whole valley felt peaceful. The C family leaned into the moment, letting the kids play, passing James around for more giggles, and enjoying the kind of evening that feels both simple and unforgettable. It was one of those sessions that reminds me how special it is to document families across generations, especially in a place as breathtaking as Schwabacher’s Landing.
The C family was warm, joyful, and an absolute delight. And sweet baby James? Truly the highlight of the night.
