Meet The Photography Team

At the center of every session is the same philosophy: thoughtful guidance, honest connection, and timeless, true-to-color images. Whether you work with me or an associate, you can expect the same seamless experience and photographs you will love for decades. Associate photographers allow us to serve more clients without sacrificing quality. Every associate are experienced, trained, and trusted to photograph sessions with the same direction and care you would receive if I were behind the camera myself. All images are processed in house, one-by-one.

  • Kayla has spent the last 15 years photographing families, seniors, couples, and weddings in the Tetons. Along the way, she began mentoring other photographers, teaching not only the technical side of the craft but also how to guide clients with confidence and create images that feel both natural and elevated.

    That same training is what she pours into her team of associates. All are experienced and personally mentored by me to deliver the images and client experience our brand is known for.

  • Joy specializes in families and groups of up to 15 in Grand Teton National Park, Moran, and Dubois. With years of experience running her own birth photography business before joining our team, she brings a calm presence, a kid-friendly approach, and a gift for drawing out natural connection.

    Joy has a gift for meeting every family exactly where they are. Whether it is kids with endless energy, little ones with unique needs, or simply a mix of personalities, she creates a calm, comfortable space and draws out the best in every moment. The result is images that feel effortless, natural, and true to each family.

    Choose a date that works best for you and pay the $500 retainer (sometimes called a deposit) to officially hold your spot.

    I’ll email you a quick questionnaire plus all the prep details so planning feels simple. You’ll gain access to my complimentary online styling service if you choose to use it.

  • 4. Capture the magic

    We’ll meet at your session and create images you’ll love for a lifetime.

    Your online gallery will be ready to view, download, and order prints online so you can enjoy your photos for years to come.

Reserving Your Session

How Session Scheduling Works

When you book, you’re reserving that date, not a fixed start time. All sessions are scheduled in the 1–3 hours before sunset to guarantee the best light; scheduled closest to sunset.

Example: Sunset is at 8:30 PM and you select a 60 minute session at the 7:00 PM time slot; your session will be moved to 7:30 PM to allow for best light.

  • Full or Extended Sessions (60–90 min) → Always scheduled closest to sunset. These times are more solid and confirmed within 24 hours of booking.

  • Half Sessions (30 min) → *GTNP: Only available on select dates and booked prior to full sessions at predetermined locations. Placed earlier in the 1–3 hour window if a full or extended session is also booked that evening. Half sessions are the most flexible and may be shifted to make room for longer sessions.

  • If you’re the only family booked → Your session will simply be scheduled near sunset within that 1–3 hour window.

We take no more than 2 sessions per evening and limit our calendar to 5 sessions per week. If multiple days begin stacking, we’ll close time slots to keep our schedule to just one session per day to keep our schedule balanced.

I’ll send an email out about a week before your session to verify all our session details. Your time may shift anywhere within the 1–3 hours before sunset, depending on other bookings.

    • Half Session (30 minutes): Quick + simple, available in Driggs/Victor/Tetonia only.

    • Full Session (60 minutes): Most popular choice, ideal for families or couples.

    • Extended Session (90 minutes): Perfect for multiple locations, outfit changes, or larger families.

    • Adventure Session (3+ hours): A curated experience designed around your Jackson Hole vacation. Think fishing at sunset, a gondola ride, a small hike and picnic, or even an evening at the rodeo. These sessions capture your family naturally, weaving activities into storytelling images that feel like memories, not just portraits.

  • Yes! You can book directly with Kayla or Joy. Both of us shoot in the same documentary + natural style. Joy is my trained lead associate photographer and brings amazing energy to kids and families.

  • We’ll confirm exact location details by email once you’re booked. Most sessions are in Teton Valley, Grand Teton National Park/Jackson Hole, or Island Park. If your session is right before/after another, the location may be pre-set to maximize light.

  • Sessions take place 1–2 hours before sunset for the best light. (More on it here) The exact start time may shift slightly depending on the lighting and scheduling. We’ll email you within 24 hours with more details and then you’ll get another confirmation email about 10 days before your session with final details.

  • We try very hard not to reschedule. The moody skies and dramatic mountain backdrops that often roll in before or after a storm make for incredible photos. Unless there’s a thunderstorm or other unsafe conditions, we’ll keep your session as planned and work with the weather. If we need to reschedule, we will do our best to do so as close to the original date as possible.

  • Every session includes a full gallery of edited, high-resolution images, an online gallery for downloading and sharing, and access to professional print products.

  • Choose your photographer (Kayla or Joy), select your session length, and reserve your spot with a $500 retainer. Once booked, you’ll receive your contract, prep guide, and questionnaire within 24 business hours.

  • Within 24 hours you’ll receive your prep guide, contract, and questionnaire. Your final details will be confirmed 10 days before your session. Final galleries are typically delivered within 3 weeks after your shoot.
