Family Session in Teton Valley | Driggs Idaho Photographer

The western side of the Tetons has a completely different feeling from Jackson Hole. It is quieter, more natural, and beautifully understated, with open meadows, tall grasses, and the mountains rising close behind you.

One thing to know when choosing this side of the range is that the sun sets opposite the Tetons. Rather than seeing the sun drop behind the mountains, we often photograph in soft evening light as the peaks begin to catch shades of pink and warm alpenglow. It creates a gentle, romantic look that feels different from the brighter sunset imagery found on the Jackson side, but every bit as beautiful.

This family had such a peaceful evening together, surrounded by the quiet landscape and the kind of mountain views that make Teton Valley feel so special. We created the classic family portraits, along with the movement, connection, and smaller moments that make the photographs feel like them.
